Terms and conditions (“Terms”) are a set of legal terms defined by the owner of the site. They determine the terms and conditions for the activities of visitors to the site in question and the relationship between site visitors and the site owner.
Terms should be defined according to the individual needs and nature of each site. For example, a site that offers products to customers in e-commerce transactions would need to have different Terms than a site that only provides information. Terms offer the site owner the ability to protect himself from potential legal risks.
